Wonderful experience with good weather.<\/p>\n<h3>Getting there \u2013 too much stuff<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Stayed at Motueka top10 campsite.<\/li>\n<li>Boerie rolls for dinner<\/li>\n<li>Joined by Daniel, Luzanne and Ashton<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" src=\"https:\/\/marvmis.simid.cloud\/wp-content\/gallery\/20121223-abel-tasman\/SAM_1126.JPG\" alt=\"SAM_1126\"><\/p>\n<h3>Day 1 \u2013 Christmas Eve&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrived at The Sea Kayak Company to get set up<\/li>\n<li>Safety briefings and packing the kayaks<\/li>\n<li>So much stuff to go in the kayaks<\/li>\n<li>Loaded the kayaks onto the vans and off to the launch spot<\/li>\n<li>Great weather<\/li>\n<li>Stopped for lunch on an Fisherman Island. Chip rolls. yum<\/li>\n<li>Saw some seals on Adele Island<\/li>\n<li>Camped at Anchorage Bay<\/li>\n<li>Massive steak followed by Christmas pudding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Day 2 \u2013 Christmas Day<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Another sunny day<\/li>\n<li>Checked out Cleopatras pools<\/li>\n<li>Found a beach to ourselves for lunch.<\/li>\n<li>Sunbathed. Got burnt<\/li>\n<li>Ashton caught a fish. Gutted the fish. Eeeeuw<\/li>\n<li>Saw a dead penguin<\/li>\n<li>Paddled to Mosquito Bay<\/li>\n<li>Beautiful campsite<\/li>\n<li>Heavy kayaks. Dragged them up the beach<\/li>\n<li>Ashton caught another fish, cooked the fish<\/li>\n<li>Cheese and crackers with our whisky on the beach at sundown<\/li>\n<li>Americans don\u2019t have Christmas crackers!!<\/li>\n<li>Butter chicken and naan bread fro dinner.
