Drove down Friday night with Alex and Steve.<\/li>\n<li>Fish and chips in Darfield.<\/li>\n<li>Alex car sick up Arthurs Pass.<\/li>\n<li>Stayed at Glow worm cottages in Franz. No toilet paper!<\/li>\n<li>Day 1 \u2013 Walked up to the 2nd icefall. Got rained on. Long walk up, long walk down.<\/li>\n<li>Turned out Sim and I had&nbsp;inadvertently&nbsp;swapped&nbsp;a boot.<\/li>\n<li>Indian for dinner.<\/li>\n<li>Day 2 \u2013 climbed near the start of the glacier where the guided parties climb. Shorter walk.
