Trip Notes

• 3.5 hrs up 2.5 hrs down roughly – so roughly 0.5 hrs slower than recommended, but it was freakishly hot
• Route starts out very steep through the trees which is kinda boring, but then once you are above the treeline and on the ridge, fantastic views
• Was bloody hot today upper 20’s
• Sim took his drone and got some great shots
• Originally planned to carry on along the ridge then scramble down to the Hawdon Valley, but  we had very little water and figured it was a bad idea to continue in the head
• the little tarn  3/4 of the way up would make a very picturesque camping spot especially in the winter
