3.5 hrs up 2.5 hrs down roughly – so roughly 0.5 hrs slower than recommended, but it was freakishly hot
Route starts out very steep through the trees which is kinda boring, but then once you are above the treeline and on the ridge, fantastic views

Originally planned to carry on along the ridge then scramble down to the Hawdon Valley, but we had very little water and figured it was a bad idea to continue in the head
the little tarn 3/4 of the way up would make a very picturesque camping spot especially in the winter
